Call out for a creative producer to work with Kid Carpet.

£1800 fee to put some bids together and help me with strategy - a couple of weeks work - leading to rolling long term project work

Kid Carpet is seeking a new, long term creative producer to work with him on the next stage of his financial revolution and desire to let KIDS RULE THE WORLD through The Kid Carpet school of future revolutionaries.

Kid Carpet is currently one of Strike A Light’s Let Artists Be Artists,  and has been working in the industry for twenty years.

There is an Initial fee of £1800 for this role to support the writing of funding bids and develop a strategy  to support the next three years of Kid Carpet’s work.

Future fees for a producer will be included in all new funding bids.

What I’m working on and towards

Jack & The Beanstalk - Kid Carpet & The Noisy Animals take on this classic tale, pull it to pieces, put it back together and perform it with our usual irreverence and anarchy. A title to sell into theatres and an opportunity to subvert the panto format.

The Money Show

A new co-created show made with primary school children about money, what's fair, what isn't and can they come up with a better idea than our current concept of money.

The Utopia Show

Another new co-created show with communities, what world do we want to live in and what might the earth look like in 300,000 years time ………….

Mr Gum

A big fat grimy whopper of a title to sell into theatres big time

I am looking for a long term relationship with a producer. I am employed to work with SAL for the next 2 years as an artist for 2.5 days a week  and this means that I am in a position to really think about the next stage of my career and would like to work with a new producer on a long term basis. I've got loads of ideas, lots of contacts and a clear plan for what I want to do but I really need a producer now to help me.

How to apply.

Please send your CV, and either a short video (no more than 3 mins) or a covering letter telling me about yourself and why you think we could be a good fit.

I’m based in Bristol and ideally would be looking for someone who is SW based but am also open to working digitally with the right person.

Please send these to kid_carpet@yahoo.co.uk by the 28th June.

Interviews.

Week commencing the 8th July.
